beat that stress

So Stressed Out

Wither you are planning a wedding, family reunion or just trying to make it through your day – there are plenty of things to get stressed about. Stress is a renewable resource and the cause of so many other problems. Like the “gift that keeps giving” stress can start small and grow into full blown disease.

There is no way to avoid it and short of medication – what can you do? Truthfully – a lot. As the stress piles on, we produce a hormone called Coriolis – this little gem makes us tried, increases belly fat and disrupts (among other things) sleep. The good news is that there are many natural things we can do to combat stress and reduce its overall effects.

To replenish the stuff that stress eats up try use these.

B-12 is one of the first vitamins to get depleted from stress and one of the easiest to take. A good liquid B-12 supplement once a day can go a long way to improving your mood, energy levels, help us produce sleep hormones and keep that belly fat at bay.

Eat – but do not Carbohydrates. I know that carbs are our “comfort foods” but in truth when we are stressed we need high in vitamins (like green vegetables) foods and good protein. The more stressed we are the less we eat or the worse we eat and that will only bring on more.

Minerals are also depleted by stress – so taking a full spectrum mineral supplement is a good idea. Minerals help relax us and keep the energy flowing.

For immediate relief;

Rescue Remedy is a blend of flower extracts that calm us down and help us get through these hard times. Theanine is an amino acid analogue that calms us down and can have a fast effect when we get to worked up. And Magnesium powder is a very quick relaxation tool for those really hard days.

So when you feel the weight of the world on you, take a break and then fight back naturally.

Be well!
